I can't explain it... I recently lost two IOIO to the same demise. I was programming and things were going well communicating with another microcontroller with proper voltages (3.3v).
I'm using an AT&T phone with not problems for three days. I think when i used my Motorola X phone something may have gone wrong. I really can't be sure. This happens to two of my IOIOs. Possibly due to the DroidX. No Red LED, no communications.
