IOIO OTG works fine with usb device mode. 

I have used IOIO v1 board. 

Q1 : 
IOIO OTG board use virtual serial port over usb on usb device mode ? 

Q2 : 
IOIO OTG virtual serial port is stable as IOIO v1 adb mode ? 

Q3 : 
apk for IOIO v1 must be recompile using IOIO OTG LIB to run apk with IOIO 
OTG board as usb device mode ?
