Hi guys,
here is the first prototype of a new robot I'm building for a search and rescue competition we're starting at UCI. It costs around $1000 to make, with all the parts excluding the phone. The robot is built on the 6WD Wild Thumper chassis: <https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-J4TXK28tdhU/VJLz6ZBPKTI/AAAAAAAAAJI/J-bOfvwkvQI/s1600/20141205_151732.jpg> If you want to build your own, you can find a manual that I quickly put together for a workshop here: https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/android-based-robotics/_H8Zmvbxx-M I'll post videos during the holidays. BTW, The Project Tango Tablet Development Kit is now available for purchase: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=44vppay5UDc https://play.google.com/store/devices/details/Project_Tango_Tablet_Development_Kit_Black?id=project_tango_tablet_black Tango would be great for this robot but it seems that Bluetooth is temporarily disabled. I know it's a bit soon to ask but do you guys know if the IOIO is compatible with Tango over USB (using AOA)? https://developers.google.com/project-tango/apis/known-issues Thanks, Nicolas On Thursday, March 6, 2014 11:29:45 AM UTC-8, norosUCI wrote: > > Hi Al B, > > great work.
