My mistake. Somehow I didn't to add the last line "ATTRS{idVendor}=="1b4f",
ATTRS{idProduct}=="0008", ENV{ID_MM_DEVICE_IGNORE}="1"" into the rules
file...So yes 1) still need this line to disable modem manager, and 2) it
