is the berlios server just slow due to being
overloaded, or does it actually lose mail sometimes?]
I've been having very frequent (every 20 min)
crashes of the latest Ion3 snapshot, where the ion
crash takes down the X server. All the core dumps have
gdb stacks like

(FWIW, all the crashes have occurred when mozilla was
at the site www.citseer.org and either browsing web
pages or pdfs. Haven't had any crashes whilst doing
other stuff.) Presumably a total crash shouldn't
happen?
