Hello,

i have a cosmetically problem with the cfg.statusbar.lua.

I use the statusbar_external.lua script from the website. There i
defined an own meter in settings which call the external program:
        external_program = '~/bin/mymailcheck'

This external is a bash script which has a "return" statement like:
        printf "%s/%s" $new $old

The script itself and the integration in mod_statusbar works fine but
thereis a little annoying effect:

My template in cfg_statusbar.lua looks like:
        template="[ %date || load: %load || mail: %imapmail ]",

All meters shows the expected values but the statusbar delimeter "]" at
the end of the statusbar always disapear when the external statusbar
modul is called (there: mymailcheck).

This behavior only appears in an WFloatWS, all other types show the full
template with the trailing "]". And when i switch back to the default
template= - String in the config it's also correctly.

Do i need any special return method in my own script? I tried with many
combinations of echo and printf parameters but always the last "]" goes
away. All other text i put in template="" is displayed.

As i said, it's only cosmetically but if someone has an idea...

Bye Gerhard
