Hi,

just a general query in case anyone has thought more
about this than me and has come up with any better
answers: are there any good strategies for keeping
track of which window is where when you've got lots of
windows, say 50 windows spread over 4 frames in a
workspace. (The window contents are such that at any
given time I want to look at a given combination at
once, so I don't want to split them down to a smaller
number per workspace; equally "well, if it's a problem
don't create that many windows" isn't really what I'm
looking for :-) ).

Obviously with an average of 12 clients per frame it's
often impossible to read anything distinctive in the
tabs due to the small space. I've played around with
pull-down menus listing all available windows but
never really got anything that didn't give a huge long
list of windows to read.

Just wondering if anyone have any better ideas,
Many thanks,

cheers, dave
