I've just upgraded my ion3 from version 20050625 to ion3-20050820. A few
features are not working or work differently then before.
- Scratchpad no longer hides itself when it's turned on and when I switch
workspace (It was a nice feature, can it be turnet back on?)
- I have a few apps that are loaded to dock instantly. For example -
torsmo, a system monitor, it gets cut off on about 64px, I've tried with
other apps like xview or xterm. The height of the dock is somehow
limited by some value (64px?), I can't find it in the documentation or
in the configuration files though.
- Finally, the fonts are broken. I was using artwiz fonts for the tabs in
my "look style" (from the artwiz-fonts gentoo package), it was always
working well. I could choose a font like 'snap' or
'-artwiz-snap-medium-r-normal--10-100-75-75-p-90-iso646.1991-irv' and it
worked fine. Now ion3 loads some different, very ugly font with no
errors whatsoever. Other, standard fonts like 'helvetica' work fine.
