I completely agree. I think it might just be a new workspace type that's actually cruder than the existing ones. It'd support resizing, but not splits (unless they meant, in that workspace type, to add a row or column). Yes, I could name windows and assign keys to go right to them, etc. But I don't tend to think like that; I know that I want to go to the window that's down and to the left of the one I'm in. I'm studying the code to see if I can do it.
