The Debian cfg_ion.lua contains the following snippet:
-- MOD1="Mod1+"
-- MOD2=""
dopath("cfg_debian")
If you have just uncommented the MOD1 setting, but have not commented-out
the dopath below, settings from cfg_debian.lua will override these.
I have notified the Debian package maintainer of this issue a few days
ago, and it should be fixed eventually.
