windows blinks

Good day,

when I use additional info in statusbar (say, laptopstatus),
i get my screen blinking. it seems every time statusd updates
values, ion resizes the window under statusbar:

ConfigureNotify event, serial 25, synthetic NO, window 0x1e00001,
    event 0x1e00001, window 0x1e00001, (1,19), width 510, height 748,
    border_width 0, above 0x1c00005, override NO


so, other windows on the screen need to redraw and this blinks ...

any ideas?
