Hi,

I've recently upgraded my desktop setup to two monitors (1024x1280
each), and there's a couple of things I'd like to do but can't seem to
figure out.

First, is there a way to have windows spanning multiple physical screens
in Xinerama mode? When resizing windows on a float workspace, I can see
the frame extend to the other screen, but windows contents are never
shown there. Not that I need that, I just thought that the current
behaviour is a bit misleading.

What I'd find really interesting is a quick "entirely full screen"
command that would work like the normal Mod1+Return, but maximize over
the entire screen instead of just a physical screen. Is this possible?

The other thing: ion in Xinerama mode seems to somehow break the "entire
screen" modes of other applications. Xine, for example, has an option to
use the entire screen for fullscreen, which works as it should if I
launch ion with -xinerama 0, but not otherwise. Any ideas?

ciao,
