Hi, I've just started using ion3ds-20061020 and unlike prior versions, it seems to be storing the size of the display somewhere in my session information.

It stores sizes of all the objects in there, but with correct size policies
the real geometries override the stored ones. Unfortunately, there was
a small problem in the backwards compatibility hack that caused the
wrong size policy being used for tilings, that does not restrict them
to the containing group's geometry. To fix this, change the "sizepolicy"
field in saved_layout.lua to 1 from 16 for WTilings (while Ion is not
running).

I gave this a try, but it didn't seem to change anything (my workspaces were still larger than the physical display). I'll try it again when I next go in there the opposite direction (back to 1280x1024 from 1024x768). Should I try the version in darcs?
