Hello. My mum uses an old 286 with DOS, WordPerfect 5.0, and 5.25
floppies. I'm getting her a laptop (an old IBM Thinkpad 770) which I'd
like to set up with Debian and Ion3 (mum never did get used to the
concept of a mouse). Is there a program for an onscreen menu for
program choices and keyboard entries? Her old DOS had a menu from
WordPerfect (ie, press "1" for WordPerfect, "2" for WordPerfect Tutor,
"3" for games - Leisure Suit Larry, F10 to exit to DOS, etc).

PS, A few centuries from now, archaeologists are going to dig up mum's
old 286, and find that it still works perfectly. They made computers
out of steel then, not plastic. Archaeologists of the future will be
studying Leisure Suit Larry for clues about our civilization (which,
frankly, is probably the most accurate depiction there is in computer-land.)
