Hi,

with the last pull the focus model kind of completely broke, specially WRT floating windows. The pointer is now still correctly moved to the window that needs to take focus, but focus itself is not moved. Scenario: Gimp is set to always float. When opening a new image, the pointer is moved to gimp's new window, but focus is still on the gimp main windows. When closing the new image after moving focus to it, the pointer is moved back to the main gimp window, but focus is moved to the tiled frame underneath.

Focus is also broken when switching workspace:
If I have a vertically split workspace, say focus is on the right frame. I switch to a second, unsplit workspace. Have the broken Gimp excercise described above - the gimp main window is on the left side of the screen. I quit gimp, focus is correctly returned to the tiled frame underneath, mouse pointer on the left side of the screen. I switch back to the previous workspace, focus is not where I left it (in the right frame), but is now in the left frame.

Both are regressions since before the last fix from 2006-12-20.

/c
