Ah, such a program exists. Now I can just point everyone asking to include all sorts of fancy key forwarding to stuff in Ion, to it. (I have not included that stuff in Ion, because I don't think it is the WM's job to do arbitrary event-sending, and because it is not that reliable in any case. Only the quote-next functionality has any place in the WM, because there would be various race conditions involved in implementing it in any other way.) -- Tuomo
