Hello,
I am new to ion, and am using version 3rc-20070720, which I found in the
Debian Stable apt repos. I read and understood the message that it may not be
supported, but I'll ask anyway.

I downloaded the statusd_exec.lua script and used it to get a date that
updates every second. My problem is that no matter how many arguments I give
to date (even if it just needs to output one number), the output is
truncated. There is plenty of room left on the statusbar. This happens
wherever the statusbar is positioned.

Is it possible to use the built-in date monitor to update every second?
If not, is it possible to stop the output from statusd_exec from being
truncated?

Thanks,
James Stanley
