Two statusbars / Multi-line statusbar ?

Hello!
Is there any way to make the second statusbar (perhaps one statusbar
at the bottom, and one at the top)?
Or, if I can't make the second statusbar, may be it is possible to
make multi-line statusbar (i think, two lines would be enough)?
