There's also the issue of size hints of the windows in the frames. Presently (iirc) the size of the new frame is adjusted to the size hints of the window put there. If you wanted to align tabs, you'd in have to disable that adjustment, and possibly lose one row in a terminal. It's not an interesting problem to solve. I rather stick to fundamental ideas and problems, not pixel-pushing kludges. -- Tuomo
