Right!  Providing a geometry keeps the window visible and it is no
longer active or focusable unless attached to a frame.  I guess this is
closer to the solution. :)

(BTW, latest Ion 3rc-20071109, only the aforementioned winprops
affecting XWrits windows.)

Yes, it works OK, except when the window happens to pop under the mouse
cursor.  In that case it takes focus.  Maybe this is too difficult to
avoid without complicating the sloppy focus code...
