hi,

accidentally, I just set up my first FreeBSD
on a 500 MHz pentium III a few days ago (nice system, e.g. the short boot time
(booting was necessary quite some times before I got it right...). so I'm really
no freebsd expert. but I installed ion3 with

pkg_add -r ion-3ds

from the 6-stable/Latest branch:

Fetching
ftp://ftp3.de.freebsd.org/pub/FreeBSD/ports/i386/packages-6-stable/Latest/ion-3ds.tbz...

that's an old ion version (end of 2006) and tuomo probably will hate to see that
but better than nothing.
