There were still some problems with multibyte string processing; version
20031121 is available. Also note the set of patches you should apply
to Lua. One of the bugs that these Lua patches fix causes the compiled
querylib.lc to be bad and Ion to complain of it. This same bug also caused
the disappearance of some querylib functions every once in a while.
2003-11-21:
* New string shortening code could segfault. Fixed it.
* Listing (completions, messages) line breaking wasn't yet
multibyte-aware.
* Invalid multibyte strings could cause the line editor to go to an
endless loop.
