Normally when configuring Ion, you copy the relevant configuration
files to your ~/.ion2/ directory and edit them there. But it's also
possible to include the default configuration files with the include()
function and only have your own customisations in your configuration
files. This is how it's done in many other programs and there are some
advantages to this approach.

In case someone's interested, I have attached my configuration files
as an example. You may have to change the paths in the include() lines
as they are for the ion-devel Debian package.
