Hi, 

The Lua 5.0.1 patch has disappeared from:
http://www.tecgraf.puc-rio.br/lua/work/lua-5.0-update.tar.gz
However there is a tarball called lua-5.0.1.tar.gz here, dated 25 Nov 2003:
http://www.lua.org/ftp/lua-5.0.1.tar.gz
But, there is no reference to it on the lua homepage. 

The lua email list still talks about 5.0.1 as being forthcoming (according
to my brief scan of recent emails). 

Is this version known to work with Ion?
Anyone following the lua list (Tuomo?) who can tell me what's going on? 

Reason for this post:
The gentoo lua 5.0.1 beta ebuild uses the patch tarball to fix the bugs in
lua 5.0. The disappearance of this tarball breaks the gentoo ebuild. 

Sorry for posting this lua-related question to the ion mailing list, but it
is related and I don't follow the lua list.
