Anybody else who has experienced this problem? I can't reproduce it on my system, I suspect it might be sensitive to CPU speed if it's a race condition, or perhaps I'm just not smacking the keys like Joey does :). But I think I've had the same problem at some time, but I can't quite remember when.

I see this bug about half the times I press alt-enter to return a
previously full-screen window to a frame. The mouse cursor becomes a
white square with a border around it[1] -- this is the same cursor ion
usually breifly displays when I hit alt-enter going from or to
full-screen mode. And apparently ion is waiting for some event, because
the cursor remains this box, and my mouse clicks have no effect, until I
press a key. That keystroke is eaten by ion, and the cursor then returns
to normal.
This never seems to happen when switching into full screen mode, only
back out of it. I have a feeling it has something to do with the order
or timeing or both of how I release the alt and enter keys; if I
concentrate on it and do it slowly, I never see the problem; if I smack
on them in my usual way without thinking about it, I see it about half
the time. Or some kind of race might be involved, I rally don't know.
I've attached a tarball of my ion config. I've been seeing this bug for
quite a while -- since ion-devel days.
[1] I use the big-cursor package, so I may not see the same cursor as most
people.
