Hello! It has now been almost a month of using Ion and I have
not once considered looking back -- what a huge improvement in
the state of the art. On to my question:

I've got this portable with a hyperactive touchpad that
causes me grief with its random clicks (moving my cursor
around in vim while I'm typing away). I've had a hard time
disabling the "touch pad click" so-called feature since
I'm using FreeBSD. I was wondering if Ion could solve this
problem for me? 95% of the time I don't need a mouse.

Is there a way to 'toggle mouse' aka turning it on and
off via the keyboard? If the mouse is off, then the
only way to get it back on should be via keyboard.

Looking forward to the next snapshot,

Clark

P.S. I'd be nice if someone updated the FreeBSD ports for
Ion, as it was a bit of a pain to get it to compile
(especially the libtool madness). Also, it'd be nice
if it came with a sampling of configurations, like
one for Emacs people and one for VIM people.
