ok, thank you very much. I tried it out, and it seems to work often, but not
always.

Of all my KDE apps with trayicons, I found that about 10-15 were working
out-of-the-box, and only 2 (JuK and Kopete) need the old winprop settings. I
don't know why these 2 behave differently because they also set this style
property.

Another small thing:
The kbluetoothd deamon, also works, but when trying to close the app, the
close confirmation dialog also goes into the tray icon with 22 (or 24, i dont
know) pixel size, making it impossible to close the daemon.
When then try to close it by pressing ctrl-c in the shell i started
kbluetoothd, Ion crashes completely.

I don't use KDE or GNOME myself since Ion is all I need, but isn't there even
a single application like a MP3 player oder Instant Messenger which uses the
kde libs?

Thanks for making this patch. It's hard to say, if it is "production-ready",
maybe there could be a setting in the dock.lua configuration file, to enable
this advanced feature for those who really use kde apps often, and to disable
it for people who don't trust this type of autodetection.

But since you don't use kde yourself, don't put too much work into this, I
could also set these 10 or 15 winprops for kde apps I use.

thanks,

Martin
