Could the program be making modifications to X keyboard map? 2-20040207 was a bit slow in conferring those changes with X as it recreated the grabs for every MappingNotify event and there seems to be one for each key... 2-20040407 and Ion3 wait for any such events in the queue before refreshing the internal state and the grabs. PS. Why's 20040407 not yet being in Debian? -- Tuomo
