Debian/testing, ion2_20040407-1, ion3_20040316-1-1. When an empty workspace is splitted via Mod1+K S and you start apps like GNU Emacs (21.3+1-5) in, say, left frame, and you apply Mod1+K H on this frame several times, then everything works as it should. However, when you apply Mod1+K H on the other (empty) right frame, then the Emacs process is no more... it crashes badly. Other apps like XEmacs (21.4.6-8) survive such a downsizing without problems.
With ion1_20020207-9 the GNU Emacs survives fine too, presumably since Ion 1 keeps more margins when maximizing horizontally. Is there a way to configure margins to be left when doing Mod1+K H with Ion 2,3? P.S. Vertical splitting and maximizing works all fine.
