After wanting to get it going for ---- well, a long time --- I've finally got the dock working.
Very cool. I have AlsaPlayer living in the dock now. It's only one keypress away, whereever I am... I just have one query: I've configured my dock to appear at the bottom of the screen and grow horizontally. One thing I'd rather like is that when the dock is visible, the usable screen area gets adjusted so the dock appears in its own frame at the bottom of the screen. That is, the dock never overlaps the rest of the screen.
