I have been planning for a while to add in better support for some of the freedesktop wm-spec to ion but have yet to find the time to sit down and do so. As I am approaching the end of the semester here I hope to find more time to work on this soon. I don't intend to support all of the spec as a good deal of it conflicts with the way ion has things work, but there are elements of the spec which do not, and I will be implementing those.
