The problem is not resizing. I do want position a window which
contains a subwindow with the full screen size, so that I see only the
subwindow. In a float WS it "snaps" at wrong positions. Binding
pixelwise move to keys would be fine.

No, the window I am interested in is part of the big VMWare desktop:

Switching VMware to fullscreen mode disables the second Xinerama
screen. Also switching back kills my X-server with 30% probability
:-(
