That was sarcasm, actually. Eclipse is one of the most bloated, overweight 
pieces of software it's ever been my misfortune to have to have on my disk 
and I quite understand that you don't want to install it. I think it's great, 
when it works, but by god it's big.

That seems plausible. If it's reusing X windows, but is forgetting to reset 
the size attributes each time one gets repopulated, then that would produce 
the seen symptoms...
