No. Under gnome-session the directory is gnome-session-$DESKTOP_SESSION_ID
(or whatever that environment variable was) and under other session
managers, whose session name we don't know, default-session-sm.

As mentioned in another reply, you can simply copy a backup file over
it before starting Ion, if you want to lose your setup.
