It's very sad because of this also drag'n drop and other things like embedding in some programs doesn't work since these (kde) programs don't find other instances of its own program. > As an aside, why do you prefer konqueror's internal tabbing to ion's > external? because internal tabbing has many advantages: - close all tabs/close all but current tab - open tab in _background_ when middle clicking (probably the biggest advantage) - doesn't clutter the Ion's title bar so much, when having many tabs - tabs are next to each other, with Ion tabs it might be, that between 10 konqueror window tabs there are tabs of other programs. - ... and especially the current mix form is a bit inapropriate for me, because I often have 3 konqueror windows open with some having multiple tabs inside, and some don't have, because of opening a new konqueror window instead of konqueror tab when opening an url from another program (like a mail programm or instant messenger).
