Hi June,
Pat has been working hard with the team to clean up the readme files to refer
to SCONS where appropriate.
I?ve asked Shamit Patel to help review the documents on iotivity.org from a
technical perspective - I?ll remind him today that the Getting Started guide
build instructions should be updated (or refer directly to the readmes). If
time permits, I hope for the updates to be completed today (12/29).
Moving forward, I suggest that you add issues like this directly to our defect
tracking database at http://jira.iotivity.org

Mike, George,

On Getting Started on Linux, Arduino, Tizen, there is no SCONS build
description.

Are you going to correct them after 12/29?

Regards

June

Title : Re: [OIC-OSD] Android Support

Hi Pat,

Let me update one more thing.
Soft sensor manager we have Android port.
Please include the Soft Sensor Manager Service for Android Build.
You can handle it from SConscript on service directory.

Hi Pat,

We have built the Android port for Things Manager Service for CES demo
working well.
But Android API and sample for Service is absent now on the Git.
You need to exclude all service from top level SCONS script.

Subject: [OIC-OSD] Android Support

To all,

In the process of moving the android SDK into master, I found that the
Android SDK is not built by the build process by default. When enabled, the
build process fails on a boost dependency in the Things Manager service.

So, let me ask a few questions. Is the Things Manager service supported
under Android? If not, I will remove it from the Android build scripts. If
yes, then I will need Boost-for-Android support to the build scripts. How
have builds for Android been verified to date?
