Nathan,

Thanks for pointing that out. I have updated the Wiki.

The mailing list is a great place for discussing the wiki.

Thanks,
Bill.

Minor issue: the link on the wiki page to Android Coding Standards is broken in
IE and Chrome browsers? it needs to have the .html appended in the hyperlink:
https://source.android.com/source/code-style <- doesn?t work
https://source.android.com/source/code-style.html <- works

The gerrit issue 102 seemed to be more about the location of the .xml files in
the git repo, and I didn?t know whether the wiki was proper subject for gerrit,
so I thought I?d just use the mailing list as you mentioned in your email.
Please let me know if I should do differently in the future for suggestions on
the wiki itself, as I have a few other comments/suggestions for the wiki
page(s).

Thanks!
Nathan

Thanks Bill.
I agree that tools is appropriate location for this.

Sachin,

Sorry, that is a copy/paste error on the wiki + omission of the files from the
repo. That text was copied from several generations of wikis, and the repo
name was blindly updated without making sure the file was in the right place.
We had originally put the style files in the repo so that every developer would
have them, and if we found that we needed changes later, every developer would
get any updates.

What is the right place to put this file in the current iotivity repo? In the
repo where the file originated doc/style made sense, but I see there is not a
?doc? directory already in the iotivity repo.

Given the current structure creating a new tools/style looks like the most
reasonable thing. I have pushed https://gerrit.iotivity.org/gerrit/#/c/102/ to
gerrit for review. You or anyone else should feel free to comment there or
here on the mailing list.

Bill.

Hi,

As per this webpage<https://wiki.iotivity.org/iotivity_coding_standards>, it
seems we can import Iotivity coding guidelines using xml file.
Does anybody know the location of this
file(iotivity-core/doc/style/iotivity_cpp_style.xml) in Iotivity repo?
Is there a repo called iotivity-core?

Thanks
Sachin
