I would like to gather some more information.

So, you have the latest code pulled from the connectivity-abstraction branch,
correct? And I believe you are using SCons to build.

Can you please give information on the problem being part of sample build?

I am asking these because, with the latest code from the
connectivity-abstraction branch, I am able to successfully build the code using
'scons' from the iotivity folder.

Thanks,

Subject: [dev] CA branch doesn't build

When building the connectivity-abstraction branch, I get

caprotocolmessage.c:(.text+0x3b): undefined reference to `coap_new_pdu'

I looked hard enough to see that coap_new_pdu() seems to be expected to be
devfined in confdef.h, built by the configure script of libcoap-4.1.1, but I
can't find the file anywhere, so it appears not to be built.

The problem seems to be part of the sample build, so maybe it isn't critical.
But the build stopped, and I don't know whether the build is complete.

Please advise.
