Jon or Drasko, I like this check. I really would like the build system to be the authoritative guide to building the IoTivity. In this world, the build system tells you what dependencies are missing and suggests ways to get it. Your suggestion is in line with that goal. Creating an issue (bug, feature, enhancement, etc. ) would be great. You can assign it to Caiwen or myself.
