If anything, I think oc_logger would be better off as its own microlibrary (especially if it ever needed work to handle more than the situations for which it was designed). Logging can become surprisingly complicated. I'm unfamiliar with the thinking/situation of whoever duplicated it, but I know that at one point there was a great deal of code that happened to. Maybe someone else will have a more clear answer for you. -Jesse
