This seems like a choice that needs to be revisited for a cross-platform codebase. Normally such projects would require all developers to run builds for multiple targets before submitting a code change. Thus *all* developers contributing to IoTivity should be running the arduino builds. This should be combined with the consideration that it is not practical to expect all developers to have arduino hardware at hand and connected at all times. -- Jon A.
