I'll see what I can do. I think I was mistaken, actually: the list does not 
remove the HTML, but the list archive cannot display it, so your email is 
completely mangled in it. Here's the link to this very message that I am

Everyone: please configure your email clients to send text/plain and do proper 
quoting.

I spoke to Bernie and he clarified the misunderstanding. The profile exists and 
is implemented but only for Android and for Tizen (using the New Bluetooth 
Framework there), but couldn't be implemented for regular Linux due to missing 
support in BlueZ. That's what Ossama is researching now.
