Glad to hear that my patch got you going.

The error that you?re seeing again seems to be an issue in
the IoTivity source, and not with the Yocto build.

What version of IoTivity are you using to build your client
application? I remember seeing one or more e-mails recently on
the mailing list about this error, and I believe that the
problem has been fixed.

I would anyhow recommend that you use IoTivity 0.9.2 from
https://downloads.iotivity.org/0.9.2/iotivity-0.9.2.tar.gz
for building your client application to test with the
IoTivity 0.9.2 Yocto build.
