Actually none of the below RAML files are working for me.

https://github.com/OpenInterConnect/IoTDataModels

I get error while uploading in Service Provider ?Failed to create resource?
(SIMULATOR_BAD_OBJECT).

Thanks Radha for your help & support so far. Any ETA on IoTivity 1.1.0 release
date?

I was trying to upload carbonDioxide.raml file (from
here<http://www.oneiota.org/releases>) to Service Provider but I was getting
same error.
I even tried to download the related .json files and kept in same folder but
still the error.
Can you please try at your end?

Hi Sachin,

Glad to hear that its working fine.

You refer to http://raml.org/"; It has references to the tools to create RAML
APIs.

For cross reference you can refer to OIC 1.0 RAML release models
here<http://www.oneiota.org/releases>.

In 1.1.0 release we are going to provide simulator support where you can create
resources manually with UI,

Without requirement of RAML also. Mean time you could try with the links
provide.

Please note that we are still using RAML 0.8.

Regards,

Radha.

Hi Radha,

RAML worked for me. Thanks a lot.
Could you please suggest editor for updating these RAML files?

I was just trying for light bulb, but can I create my own RAML file for any
device type?

Thanks,
Sachin

Hi Sachin,

Tab shouldn't be used while giving spaces in RAML file that was the issue.

I have attached modified RAML. you can try with this.

Still if you face any issues please let me know.

Regards,

Radha.

Hi Madan,

Attached are set of files I modified to add new attribute ?mfg?. When I try to
upload this RAML file, the Service Provider will not accept it and throw an
error.
Could you please try at your end and let me know?

Thanks,
Sachin

Hi Madan & Uze,

One question. The RAML file for ?simple-light.raml? found in directory
?iotivity-1.0.1\service\simulator\java\eclipse-plugin\ServiceProviderPlugin\resource\Light?
works well when I upload it to Service Provider.
But when I try to modify this RAML file by adding new attribute, the Service
Provider is not accepting it. How can I do that, please suggest.

Thanks,
Sachin

Hi Sachin,

I think you don?t need to do C++ coding for real Light setup on simulator.
Let me look it step by step.
If you find the Light device in the ?OIC smart home device specification?.

Light

oic.d.light

Binary switch

oic.r.switch.binary

Only binary switch is the mandatory resource.
However, you can also include the Hue and Color resource from ?OIC Resource
Type specification? from your own purpose.
Please add the appropriate resource from the UI.
