>From today ISG call, the requirement for build system function/maintainer position has been discussed. As an action item, we are finding the candidate for that position. Please let us know if willing to contribute as that position. Let me list responsibilities up as follows. * To maintain Build Script - Preprocessor (build option) management - Application build script by scons build - Build script consistency with template * To Configure Directory/Binary - Modular structure for binaries - Separate git design - Module Dependency structure * To maintain Continuous Integration - Jenkins fail monitoring & report - Build job profile configuration : add platform, build option configuration, unit test jobs We have one more to be discussed. This position should be set as maintainer or function lead? There are two opinions as follows. .This is related with code so that it could be work of maintainer. .This requires rather policy setting and communication and code are also overlapped with feature maintainers then need more authority, so that function lead is suitable.
