Hi, Lynx Technology has started to work with the OCF specification and the IoTivity code for our next generation Smart Home product. The open source project is quite a nice approach to verify that the specification is implementable and to give device manufacturers an easy start into OCF.
We checked out the code and found that a lot of functionality is there. However the overall picture is not that easy to see/find, e.g. building an OCF compliant server device with security enabled that is resource constraint (small object code and small memory footprint) seems to require some effort. :-) While working with the code, we from Lynx Technology would also like to help to improve the code where possible and really use it for our own products. My role at Lynx technology is to lead the engineering team that works in the OCF space. As VP of engineering I believe that I can also help and contribute a bit with the overall planning. Therefore I hereby would be willing to take the role of the ?Planning, FunctionLeader?, which seems to be vacant right now (https://wiki.iotivity.org/projects_and_functions) Please let me know if that works for everyone and how I can claim that role. thanks Christian ?
