Hi,

What I really mean is: if these resources are left to application developers
to implement, then more APIs are needed to implement these resources.

For example, to implement '/oic/ping', the API to tell if the tcp connection
to a certain client is alive is needed, and the API to cut or keep a certain
connection are also needed.

Subject: [dev] Question about the core resources

Hi All,

I'm going through the OIC spec 1.0 about the resources, and I have a question
about implementation of the core resources.

Does the Iotivity community plan to implement the non-mandatory core resources
(such as /oic/rts, /oic/ifs, /oic/mon, /oic/mnt, /oic/ping) in the base SDK, or
leave them to the application developer?

Regards,
Shaoguang
