Hi everyone,

I am looking into the possibilities to keep a connection to a RD (i.e. via
cloud interface) up or reconnect when the connection went down.
I noticed that the published resources are removed from the RD in the cloud
when the connection was interrupted for some time.

What are the possibilities in IoTivity to re-establish the connection?

>From searching through the IoTivity code and the specification I found that
>for CoAP over TCP connections the /oic/ping resource
is handled by the stack with a timeout of 2 minutes. When this timeout expires
the connection is shut down by the stack.
How can this connection shutdown be tracked? Would the network monitor of the
CAManger be called then?

And when the connectivity is back again, how would the connection to the RD be
established again? Would a new sign-in
with the account manager be enough to accomplish that?

Thank you for your support.

Best Regards,

Martin R?sch
