As an individual with no corporate "skin in the game" I'm almost apathetic about the details of the project structure is as long as maintainers and developers are active, engaged, and visible in public sharing their expertise and helping others along. I don't see that as being entirely the case right now. That comment out of the way, Thiago's proposal feels pretty good as an evolution to accommodate future growth, as long as we can develop some comfort it won't burden today's activities.
