Hi Choi,

I guess this is mostly due to UDP port blocking in your Wi-Fi AP.

If possible you can configure to allow UDP IPv4_MULTICAST_PORT 5683 for IPv4.

In case of Ethernet network, you probably can communicate each other.

Subject: [dev] iotivity server-client communication (linux and android)

Hi,

I'm trying to work on the iotivity server-client communication,

But I could not make it work,

And it would be so great if you could give help or advises.

The server runs on android (java sdk) and the client runs on linux (Ubuntu,
C++) platform.

I tried running them in the same Wi-Fi network,

but the client couldn't find the server resource.

Even when I tried to search the server with the server IP address,

it still couldn't find it.

Does anyone know how to connect these two devices, or

is there any documentation that I can refer to?

Thank you in advance :)
